Les Louis

Les Louis, our bass player, was first introduced to music at the age of 12 when he began taking clarinet and piano lessons. He quickly improved and then started playing in the school band. Early in life, Les fell in love with the sound of the upright bass guitar. Much later in life, Les decided that the time was right for him to start on the bass guitar. Les has been inspired by local bass players such as Mike Boone, Richard Hill, Steve Eskron, and Joe Curney. However, Rufus Reid will always remain his greatest inspiration.
