Wes Anderson, Jr. has had a varied career history which incorporated his love of music. In the 1970's he played lead guitar for various music acts, including “Sister Sledge”, “The Ultimates”, “The Tymes”, “Andy Aaron's Mean Machine”, and “Soul Brothers LTD”. After focusing on his behavioral health career for many years, Wes returned to the music scene in 2017. He has since played with the settlement Adult Jazz Band, drummer Webb Thomas, saxophonist Tony Williams, and the “Bop City Big Bad Band”. Wes has also played gospel music with the “Tindley Temple United Methodist Church Gospel Quartet”. Currently, Wes plays with the “Passage Jazz Quartet” while he studies with Chuck Anderson, premiere jazz guitarist, educator, and principal student of Dennis Sandole.
